Okay so, been playing since ME1. Romanced Kaidan in the first. Romanced Garrus in the second. Had to have a "talk" with Kaidan in ME3. I was dead! He basically told me to fuck off on Horizon! I saw how he was with that other woman on Horizon. Fucking Kaidan. Seriously, if there would have been an option to bitch slap him and tell him to get his whiney ass off my ship, I would have.
Anyway, Garrus is awesome. So awesome in fact, I purposely missed the shot during the sniper contest for him. It's okay. I know there are other things you're good at. I swooned. My husband rolled his eyes but was happy I finally settled down. Last edited by sorathecrow ; 29 Jul, am.
It should be noted that you can't romance Garrus in the first game and you are not restricted in your romance options in subsequent games.

In my first run ever, aimed for Liara but all of a sudden discovered had romanced Ashley too, though it wasn't intention. Had just been polite to everyone on first time and it led to that confrontation. Just in case it wasn't clearly defined.

This seems to have no effect on Liara later on, and Shepard can continue onto Mass Effect 3 to romance her, however, Shepard will be forced to choose between their love interests during the third game. User Info: unreadablemind. The early dialogue with Garrus doesn't lock you in, just like it doesn't with Liara. The actual lock-in points are after the Cerberus coup attempt. So you should have gotten a message from Garrus already. He's in the docking bay waiting for you. And no, as long as you shot Kaiden and Traynor down, you haven't locked in to anyone else yet so it shouldn't be a problem.
Hmm, odd, because I haven't gotten a message from Garrus to meet at the Citadel yet. Or sometime after it? I got one from Kaiden to meet at the cafe, where I turned him down.
